Einstein equations split into a set of constraints and a set of evolution equations. One of the most surprising results in the study of general relativistic constraint equations is a construction of Carlotto and Schoen which allows one to effectively screen the gravitational field in cone-like sets in the initial data hypersurfaces. In this talk I will give an outline of this construction, describe the context, and present some generalisations obtained in joint work with Erwann Delay.
